Saw Nay Naing Memorial (Kyaiklatt)

Kyaiklat town, where the Saw Nay Naing Memorial mission has its center, is about 48 miles south of the city of Yangon. This semi-parish was first under Kyaiklat parish. In 1998 it became a separate mission with a certain hope for far reaching evangelization. The mission is mainly for Kayin people living in this area. This semi-parish comprises of 35 families with about 200 faithful. The majority of them are farmers. 3 Saint Francis Xavier Sisters are working in this mission together with the parish priest of Kyaiklatt parish.
